Sweden surprised the hockey world with Viktor Arvidsson over this better-suited Swede.

It's clear from some of the 4 Nations Face-Off selections that experience has won out. But there is one experienced Edmonton Oilers forward who was more deserving of being on Team Sweden than Viktor Arvidsson.
Here are two reasons why Mattias Janmark should have gotten the call to represent Sweden instead of Arvidsson.
Janmark knows that he's not a top-six forward. He is a productive bottom-six forward who can play on the penalty kill, in addition to having the fastest burst of speed in the league this season.
He's a role guy, a team player, and does whatever is asked of him. Janmark can play up and down the lineup as evidenced by Kris Knoblauch using him on the top two lines to give the team a spark.
Toe-to-toe, Janmark is having a better offensive season. The 31-year-old Swede is on pace for a career season. With 10 points in 25 games, he's producing at a 0.40 points per game pace.

Alternatively, Arvidsson has played well but hasn't found himself on the scoresheet as often. His five points in 16 games leaves him on pace for just 26 points.
While Janmark doesn't have the razzle-dazzle of the looked over William Eklund, he would have been a better choice for Team Sweden than Arvidsson.
