The Bakersfield Condors are the AHL affiliate for the Edmonton Oilers. They have played four games so far this season.
The Condors are 4-1-0 to begin their 2023-24 season. This past week they defeated Henderson Silver Knights 5-1, won 4-1 and 5-1 in back-to-back games against the Tuscon Roadrunners.
Here are the Condors scoring leaders through the first five games:
Goals
Assists
Points
Here are how the two goaltenders are fairing so far:
Olivier Rodrigue
Calvin Pickard
The Condors are off to a great start to their season. Sam Gagner has made an immediate impact since joining the team, including five points in three games.
Raphael Lavoie has been an absolute beast for the AHL team. In the Condors most recent win against the Roadrunners he had a Gordie Howe Hat Trick - a goal, assist and a fight. He ended up with two goals on the night, one of which was on the powerplay.

Lavoie has seven points in five games. He also has 17 penalty minutes and 27 shots on goal - which is over five shots on goal per game. It is only a matter of time before he is called up to the Oilers. When he does, don't expect him to come down to the Condors anytime soon after that.
