After an embarrassing loss to Sweden, the lines were changed at practice today for Team Canada.

After handily defeating their first two opponents Team Canada was shutout against Sweden yesterday 2-0. Tom Willander and Noah Ostlund scored for Sweden while Hugo Havelid recorded another shutout - his second straight.

The offense well came up dry against the Swede's as Canada only mustered 21 shots on net - resulting in zero goals.

A by product of Canada's effort yesterday is a shuffling of lines earlier today:

Matthew Savoie was absent from practice. Alan Letang later called it a maintenance day for the young forward.

The defense pairings remained the same while the forward lines were blended. The most notable change was Brayden Yager elevated to the top line with Conor Geekie on the other wing and Matthew Poitras taking the center position.

Macklin Celebrini was also moved to the second line, flanked by Fraser Minten and Jordan Dumais.

We will see if these changes have an impact on the end result in tomorrow's game against Germany. Game time will be 11:30 AM Mountain Time.
