The Edmonton Oilers have made many trades in their time in the league. The most famous one being the Wayne Gretzky trade, at a time when the organization was in dire straights.
The general managers (GM) over the years have had varying degrees of success with their trades. One GM who lost more trades than he won, was Peter Chiarelli.
His most famous deal with the Oilers was arguably acquiring Adam Larsson by trading away Taylor Hall. Since that trade Hall has played with the Arizona Coyotes, Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins and now the Chicago Blackhawks.
Taylor Hall & Connor Bedard. While he didn't play with Connor Bedard, he made his presence felt. In 15:44 of time on ice, Hall scored a goal on three shots on net.
Hall was acquired by the Blackhawks to help Bedard with his transition into the NHL. Being a first overall pick himself, Hall has learned things over the years that could greatly help the young generational talent.
