The Edmonton Oilers are looking for some players to add to boost their depth. Recently three members of the organization have been scouting the Columbus Blue Jackets.
One team that may be looking to move a defender is the Nashville Predators. The Oilers are three points behind the Predators in the Western Conference standings.

Tyson Barrie will be a healthy scratch for the Predators in today's game versus the New York Rangers. The blueliner has nine points in 22 games this year while averaging 18:51 of time on ice.
Barrie was a beloved member of the Oilers in his time with the team. While they could use some defensive depth, I'm not sure if Barrie is the kind of player they are looking for.
With Dougie Hamilton injured indefinitely the New Jersey Devils could use some reinforcements on the back end.
