The former Edmonton Oilers forward will be out for at least two weeks.

Can Connor Brown play the whole season with Connor McDavid?

The Edmonton Oilers have had many power-forward-types go through their lineup. From Patrick Maroon to the recently retired Zack Kassian to the Evander Kane.

Kane started very strong with the Oilers. His first year with the Oilers saw him net 39 points in 43 games. Last year he scored 28 points in 41 games - while also dealing with the rehabilitation of a scary wrist injury.

The Boston Bruins announced earlier today that Milan Lucic was put on long term Injured reserve (LTIR).

Lucic took a shot off of an ankle in a game against the Los Angeles Kings last week. Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery told the press that he'd miss at least two weeks.

He famously signed a six-year $42-million contract on July 1st 2016. He was dealt to the Calgary Flames three years later for James Neal.

This past off-season he returned to his first franchise, the Bruins. He has two points in four games so far this season.
