Former Edmonton Oilers forward is getting settled into his new team.
EDMONTON -- Once an Edmonton Oiler, always an Edmonton Oiler.
There are a few former Edmonton Oilers players who have enjoyed success after they have left the team. Taylor Hall won the Hart Trophy, Cam Talbot regained his form, and the duo of Jordan Eberle and Adam Larsson have found roles suitable to them on their new team - the Seattle Kraken.

But there is another former Oilers player who endured a rough - and long - summer rehabbing from an intensive operation, who is finally finding their stride with their new team.
Jesse Puljujarvi signed a contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins on February 5th, 2024. While he has had a tough start to the new deal, his last couple games have displayed what he is capable of.
Last night was the second game in a row that the 6-foot-4 forward was able to find the back of the net.
This one is particularly impressive for a couple reasons. The first one being, he just jumped onto the ice and shows his awareness by jumping up into the play. Secondly, he snipes the puck which finds it's way between the legs of his teammate who is screening the goaltender.
Puljujarvi finished the game with two shots, three hits, 11:55 of ice time to go along with his one goal. For his efforts he was named second star of the hockey game.
