Edmonton Oilers Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, plus their significant others went out on a double date to celebrate a recent engagement.
EDMONTON -- Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are inseparable.
That is, when the Edmonton Oilers' superstars aren't away on a honeymoon or vacationing on a different continent. A couple of weeks ago Draisaitl and McDavid were sharing a gym session together.
Just yesterday, they were spending some time together celebrating a recent milestone.
Both Draisaitl and Lauren (McDavid's wife) shared this photo on their respective Instagram stories yesterday. The caption on the photo reads, "celebrating these two finally."
Back when McDavid spoke at the Zach Hyman Celebrity Classic, he mentioned that he hadn't seen Draisaitl yet. Soon after that they were back in the gym together. Then the McDavid wedding happened last weekend. This was the first time that all four of them could get together and focus on the newly engaged couple, Draisaitl and Celeste Desjardins.

It's important for hockey players to spend time away from the game and living their lives. Part of that involves celebrating the big events in each other's lives. And both of these couples have had huge life events that require a full day (minimum) to celebrate.
