The Edmonton Oilers shake up their top six forward group once again.
Earlier this week the Edmonton Oilers put their forward group through a shake up.
Leon Draisaitl was paired up with Connor McDavid and Evander Kane. Warren Foegele found himself in the top six on a line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Zach Hyman. That line found success against the Nashville Predators - but it looks to potentially be short lived.
The Oilers practiced at the Downtown Community Arena in Edmonton earlier today, with a new look at the forward group.
Evander Kane was moved to a new look third line with Ryan McLeod and Connor Brown. Hyman got the bump up to Kane's old spot.
Mattias Janmark getting bumped up to take over Human's spot on the second line is the most surprising promotion.
I'm not sure that juggling the forward lines to this extend is going to lead to new long term line combinations. At the very least it can break whatever minor funk they find themselves in right now with their 1-3 start.
