The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Seattle Kraken 4-1 in pre-season action last night. Some surprising numbers emerged from the game.

The Edmonton Oilers came away with another pre-season victory last night. Xavier Bourgault scored two goals enroute to a 4-1 win for the Oilers. Some surprising and impressive stats emerged from the game.

The Seattle Kraken out-shot the Oilers 33-14. Justin Schultz led the way with five shots on net. Bourgault led the Oilers in shots, with three.

The only Kraken to get on the goal sheet was Kailer Yamamoto. His tally came on their second power play of the game.

Jack Campbell was stellar in net again stopping 32 of 33 shots. That's good for a .970 save percentage. So far he's building his case to be the Oilers starter to begin the season. The team in front of him did their best to make his night easier, with 18 blocks.

The Oilers had a surprising leader of ice time in last night's game - Ben Gleason. The left handed defender played 23:53. The next highest was Philip Broberg at 22:53.
