EDMONTON -- Losing Game seven was a tough pill to swallow.
For the fans, but especially for the Edmonton Oilers players.
In the latest episode of The Drop, a behind-the-scenes look at the team, fans are shown the rollercoaster of emotions that happened during Game seven of the Stanley Cup Final.
One fan in particular is sharing a clip from when the team got back to the dressing room after the final buzzer. The disappointment is palpable.
The footage is mostly shots of every player around the dressing room sitting in various states of disbelief. As you see each player's reaction to the loss, you hear the presentation of the Conn Smythe Trophy and Stanley Cup in the background.

Imagine for a moment, that you are Connor McDavid and you walk into that dressing room after losing Game seven. Is it any wonder why he didn't come out and accept the Conn Smythe Trophy?

No doubt the team will use this loss as fuel to motivate them to get to the same stage as last year.
