Oilers Rivals Make Surprising Zadorov Trade
While the Edmonton Oilers seem to be sorting out their own problems on defense, other teams are going the trade route.
In a Thursday afternoon trade, the Calgary Flames have found a suitor for Nikita Zadorov - the Vancouver Canucks.
The Flames have traded Zadorov to the Canucks in exchange for a 5th round 2024 draft pick and a 2026 3rd round pick.
The 6-foot-6 248 pound left handed defenseman is in the last year of a contract that pays him $3.75-million.
