Team Canada played in its second exhibition style game of the 2024 World Junior Championship. Their first game was an 8-0 win over Denmark.

Their second game was a 6-3 victory over Switzerland. Canada exploded for four goals in the second period.
Montreal Canadiens forward prospect Owen Beck got on the board with two goals. Conor Geekie - a member of the Arizona Coyotes prospect pool - recorded a goal and assist.
Macklin Celebrini potted himself two assists in the first two periods of play. He may have recorded more points but one careless play cost him that opportunity.
Of course it's worth mentioning that everything in hockey happens so fast, he needs to be able to make that read quicker and change direction. Celebrini could have changed his approach and poke checked the puck rather than ram an opposing player in the numbers straight into the boards.

Celebrini received a five minute boarding penalty as well as a game misconduct. He will likely miss the next pre-tournament game and any number of the tournament games.
Canada plays their final exhibition game on Sunday December 24th against the USA.
