Edmonton Oilers look to bounce back from their embarrassing Game 1 loss to the Vancouver Canucks.

The Edmonton Oilers are getting their roster sorted out for Saturday's game. Earlier today Mattias Ekholm was a full participant in practice - paired with Evan Bouchard.

The practice also saw Darnell Nurse reunited with Cody Ceci and a new look third pairing with Brett Kulak and Philip Broberg.

In light of this, they have also put a player on waivers for the purpose of assignment to the AHL - Markus Niemelainen.

The 6-foot-5 young defenseman has spent the last while injured. As a result, he hasn't been allowed to be put on waivers. So this development shows he is finally healthy again.
