The Edmonton Oilers kick off the regular season against the Vancouver Canucks tonight.
Game one of 82 starts tonight for the Edmonton Oilers. They kick off their season with the front half of a home-and-home with the Vancouver Canucks.
Jack Campbell was the first goalie off the ice at the optional skate this morning - so he's the projected starter for the game.
Also of note, it appears that the Oilers will go 11-6 for forwards-defensemen, as Mattias Ekholm looks to be out tonight. He was on the ice taking extra shots at the end of practice with Stuart Skinner.
