At least one former Edmonton Oilers teammate will be at Connor McDavid's wedding today.

Today, Edmonton Oilers' captain Connor McDavid is getting married to his girlfriend Lauren Kyle. The two have been together for over nine years.

The McDavid wedding has been highly anticipated by Oilers' fans everywhere. For many, it's been the most anticipated event of the summer. More anticipated than a potential Leon Draisaitl extension or hiring a new general manager.

Some have dubbed it the "royal wedding."

Now there is proof that some of the people attending the festivities feel the same way.

Warren Foegele shared an Instagram story of himself on the golf course. He wasn't alone, as Philip Broberg and Evan Bouchard accompanied him. The caption for the photo read, "Dream team at the royal wedding." Broberg and Foegele posed for the picture while Bouchard was mid-swing.

It's no surprise to see Foegele attending McDavid's wedding. His stall in the locker room was right beside McDavid's.

After having a career season Foegele made the difficult decision to move on to another organization. With the Oilers cap space they had they couldn't make a new Foegele deal work. He signed a three-year $3.5-million deal with the Los Angeles Kings on July 1st.

In 82 games he scored 20 goals and had 41 points, both were career highs. He was coming off of a three-year deal worth $2.75-million per year. His penalty killing ability and heavy forechecking presence will be sorely missed on the ice.
