
Here is the full schedule for Team Canada for the 2025 World Junior Championship.

The Edmonton Oilers are the adults in this situation. They will have a Christmas break to rest and recharge from the regular season grind. Between their home game against the Ottawa Senators on December 22 and their first game back against the Los Angeles Kings on the 28th, they will have five full days off.
While they spent time with their families, the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship will kick off in earnest. Like every previous year, the competition's first game will begin on Boxing Day, December 26.
Similar to last year, pre-tournament games will begin before that time. Here is the full breakdown for Team Canada.

The Oilers' top defense prospect, Beau Akey, will represent Team Canada. Akey has been playing for the Barrie Colts of the OHL this season and has scored 19 points in 25 games.
