Edmonton Oilers Re-Sign Forward Prospect

The Edmonton Oilers have re-signed one of their most notable prospects.

Oilers look to sign Ryan McLeod, Evan Bouchard and 4th line center.

Edmonton Oilers prospect Raphael Lavoie has accepted his qualifying offer. He will make $874,125 at the NHL level and $70,000 in the minors for the 2023-24 season.

Lavoie, 22, is coming off of a solid season with the Bakersfield Condors. In 61 games with the American Hockey League (AHL) squad, he had 25 goals to go along with 45 points. It was a notable step in the right direction for the Oilers prospect, and now he will be aiming to build off of it in 2023-24.

Lavoie will be looking to make the Oilers' roster at the start of the season. If he has a strong camp, he certainly could be in the mix for a bottom-six role this fall.
