The Edmonton Oilers sign the former Washington Capitals winger.

Connor McDavid's junior hockey teammate is coming to the Edmonton Oilers. Multiple insiders are reporting that the Oilers have signed free agent Connor Brown.
Both Kevin Weekes and Ryan Rishaug are reporting that the Oilers have signed Brown to a contract. Frank Seravalli is reporting that it will be a one-year deal with a $775,000 cap hit. Bonuses in the contract could potentially add up to $3.25-million.

During his four games with the Washington Capitals this past regular season he played top-six minutes with Alex Ovechkin and Dylan Strome. The right winger will get a chance to play with at least one of Leon Draisaitl or McDavid.
This move can pay huge dividends for the Oilers this year as they make a push to become Stanley Cup contenders again this season.
