Connor McDavid cleans house winning the Art Ross, Maurice Richard, Ted Lindsay and the Hart Trophies.
The Edmonton Oilers were well represented at the 2023 NHL Awards in Nashville. Darnell Nurse was a finalist for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, and Stuart Skinner was a Calder Trophy Finalist. Neither won their award, but Connor McDavid won four over the course of the night.

McDavid was the story of the night, etching his name in the record books in the process. Only two other players have won the Ted Lindsay four times in their career: Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky.
Congratulations to Matty Beniers of the Seattle Kraken on your Calder Trophy win. I personally would have voted for Skinner, but what Beniers did was impressive in it's own right, so I understand the logic. I personally think it's more difficult for a rookie to play 50 games and win 29 of them than it is for a rookie forward to get 57 points.

Two of the awards that McDavid won were already decided by the end of the season. By scoring the most goals and having the most points he was able to secure the Maurice Richard Trophy and the Art Ross Trophy. He also won the Hart Trophy for most valuable player and the Ted Lindsay for most outstanding player as voted by his peers.
With all these great smaller trophies in his collection, McDavid has his sights set on a bigger trophy: the Stanley Cup.
