With the Edmonton Oilers set to play the Minnesota Wild tonight, there is a young forward who should get a shot with Leon Draisaitl.
Today is Frozen Frenzy for the NHL. Every single team is playing tonight, and each game is starting at a completely different time.
The Edmonton Oilers are taking on the Minnesota Wild. They will try to get their second win of the early season, without the on-ice assistance of Connor McDavid.
Leon Draisaitl will pivot the top line - but who should flank him? My guess is that Evander Kane gets the left wing spot and Dylan Holloway should get the right wing spot.
Dylan Holloway.Holloway is having a great season so far, and has been consistently playing well. He hasn't made any egregious errors on goals against. What he should get is more ice time to prove himself.
The time is now for the Oilers to do that. They have a few options for a second line that have been successful in previous games this season. They could deploy Zach Hyman, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Warren Foegele played fantastic with each other last week and should be reunited for tonight's tilt.
Regardless of what happens, Holloway has earned a chance.
