The Edmonton Oilers have had 12 goals scored against them in the first two games - should fans be worried?

The Hockey News writers voted Connor McDavid most likely to win the Art Ross, Hart, and Maurice Richard Trophies.

The Edmonton Oilers find themselves starting the year 0-2. They lost their first game 8-1 on Wednesday and then dropped a 4-3 decision on Saturday at home.

I've seen a lot of fans pulling out their torches and pitchforks - wanting something to change. The good thing is that it's only been two games, and there are 80 left in the season.

The bad news is that this two-game losing streak happened at the beginning of the season.

In the latest episode of Striking Oil, I give my thoughts on the first two games, clamor for more ice time for Philip Broberg as well as chime in on the goalie debate surrounding Stuart Skinner and Jack Campbell.
