The Anaheim Ducks announced a series of cuts to the roster tonight. Olen Zellweger was sent to juniors, Alex Killorn was put on injured reserve and Zack Kassian was released from his professional tryout contract. Kassian was looking to continue his professional playing career in Anaheim - after spending a season with the Arizona Coyotes. He was able to carve a role for himself with the Oilers. He was a great complimentary piece for a very long time.
