Since Jan. 1, the Blues' Jimmy Snuggerud leads all rookies in scoring with 22 points in 24 games. Playing on the top line with Robert Thomas and Dylan Holloway, Snuggerud has scored multiple points in four straight games. 

The award is still Matthew Schaefer's to lose, but there's a chance Snuggerud can catch Beckett Sennecke or Ivan Demidov in points, and end up being a finalist for the Calder.
