Alex Oveckin, the greatest goal scorer in NHL history, scored his first of the 2025-26 season Friday against the Wild. 

He's scored a goal and four points in five games this season, showing no signs of slowing down. 

He's now two shy of reaching 900, something he'll surely do this season. 

How many goals will he end up with this season? And should he return for 2026-27, will he have a chance to hit 1000?
