Assuming the Mammoth take the first wild card spot, that leaves only one spot for a Pacific Division club.

The Kraken, Kings and Sharks are separated by just one point, and each of them make a strong case to make the playoffs... except they're not exactly playing like they want it.

The Kraken made an astute acquisition with Bobby McMann, but they've lost five of their past seven.

The Kings are missing Adrian Kempe, and they've yet to win consecutive games since Jan. 20-24, alternating wins and losses in their past nine games.

The Sharks have lost two straight with 12 goals against and five of their past seven. They may the most talented bunch, but also the most inconsistent and inexperienced.

Who makes the cut? And can they even push their first-round series beyond four or five games?
