Matthew Schaefer has company.

Schaefer wasn't even one of the big front runners for the Calder Trophy before the season but it was made quite apparent early on that he was a cut above the rest. 

With Jesper Wallstedt's incredible streak, however, the big Swede has enter the conversation. 

For an award that's historically been won by forwards, it's interesting that the top two rookies right now is a defenseman and a goalie.
