With Igor Shesterkin potentially missing a chunk of the season, the number of elite goalies having elite seasons has dwindled the list down to perhaps just one: Andrei Vasilevskiy.

There's been a lot surprises in an infamously volatile position. There is still value, though, in using an early pick on a goalie such as Jake Oettinger, Logan Thompson, or even Sergei Bobrovsky. They haven't been lights out, but they rank in the top 10 in the significant categories.

The current wins leader is Karel Vejmelka, who was drafted in the late rounds; the save percentage leaders are Jesper Wallstedt, who was an insurance pick in case you had Filip Gustavsson, and Philipp Grubauer, who had arguably been the worst goalie in the league over the past few seasons; and Jet Greaves ranks top five in saves.

So who is your fantasy hockey goalie MVP this season?
