With less than 20 games left in the regular season and playoff races heating up, the race for the scoring title is also heating up.

In the lead is Connor McDavid with 110 points, the league's best offensive player who has managed to put up amazing numbers even though his team has not lived up to expectations. If McDavid wins, it'll be his sixth (!) Art Ross, tying him with Gordie Howe and Mario Lemieux for second-most all-time.

Nathan MacKinnon trails by two with 108 points, and he's been the scoring leader for most of the season and the front-runner for the MVP given the Avs' regular-season dominance. He's scored the majority of his points at even strength since the Avs' power play is curiously among the league's worst. If he wins, it'll be his first ever Art Ross, with only two awards left to fill his cupboard: the 'Rocket' Richard and the Selke.

Leading with a 1.77 points-per-game average, Nikita Kucherov is four points behind with 106. He's scoring at the league's highest pace despite shooting the puck and skating far fewer minutes than either McDavid or MacKinnon. If the Lightning increase Kucherov's minutes, he has a good chance to catch them.

Who do you think will win the Art Ross this season?
