Roope Hintz is expected to open the season as the Stars' top center this season following four straight seasons with at least 60 points and earning Selke Trophy votes in each of those seasons.

He has also declared he's 100 percent healthy after suffering a broken foot in the playoffs that did not require surgery in the off-season or impede his summer training.
