Cole Caufield took another step forward, potting a career-best 37 goals to go with 33 assists, finishing with a career-high 70 points. His game has taken substantial steps forward following the hiring of Martin St. Louis as coach. The big question is if this is his ceiling or can he reach another level?
Caufield benefits from skating on a line with Nick Suzuki and notched 10 power play goals last season. Montreal will have a full season from Ivan Demidov and added Zachary Bolduc and Noah Dobson. The new weapons will help the team's offense but could result in a slight decline or flattening of Caufield's production.
