Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, BUF @ NJ (33% rostered) - FanDuel $7,400
I am going on a limb selecting UPL, as he may not be between the pipes Wednesday. Buffalo has back-to-back games, so Alex Lyon, who has been extremely good in net, may get the nod with UPL starting Thursday. In addition, he is facing the Devils and Jack Hughes, who missed New Jersey's last three games before the Olympics break due to injury and suits at home after the Golden Goal. But DFS and fantasy is made on taking educated risks.
Andrei Vasilevskiy, TB vs. TOR (100% rostered) - FanDuel $8,400
Vasilevskiy closed out the pre-Olympics break unbeaten in his last eight games (13 goals allowed). Stretching back further, he hasn't lost in regulation since Dec. 18 (16-0-1). Vasilevskiy started the season 0-3-2, raising some questions, but he has shown that was a mere blip, as he 27-7-3 with a 2.11 goals-against average (GAA) and .920 save percentage. He should be well-rested and fresh, having had the last three weeks off.
Eric Comrie, WPG @ VAN (3% rostered) - FanDuel $8,000
Connor Hellebuyck gets a well-deserved break after backstopping the US to the Gold Medal. Starting in net for the Jets is Comrie, who has won his last three outings while making 72 saves on 75 shots. Overall, Comrie is 9-9-1 with a 3.07 GAA and an .892 save percentage across 19 appearances this campaign. Winnipeg will be without Josh Morrissey, Neal Pionk and Nino Niederreiter, making Comrie a slightly riskier bet than he normally might be.
Lukas Dostal, ANA vs. EDM (78% rostered) - FanDuel $7,500
Dostal rebounded from his three-week slump in mid-December through early-January to close the pre-Olympics break strong. He won eight of his last nine starts, pushing Anaheim into the second Wild Card spot. Dostal is now 21-13-2 with a 2.92 GAA and an .897 save percentage across 38 appearances this season. He is two wins shy of the career-high 23 he posted last season and comes into this stretch after starting for Czechia in the Olympics.
