If you're a fantasy hockey manager always looking for some upside, then odds are you're always betting on the NHL's best young players.
It can be a precarious game; the progression from being a prospect to rookie to star player is never a straight line, and the league has seen its fair share of players who never live up to their potential.
It's always interesting to look back on lists. No matter how carefully put together, there's always bound to be surprises. This top-100 list from 2018 doesn't hold too many surprises, starting at the top with Connor McDavid at No. 1.
