On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.
Jared Spurgeon, MIN @ NJ (24% rostered)
Despite the absence of Kirill Kaprizov and sophomore slump of Brock Faber, the Wild are still in a playoff spot. Once big reason has the been the play of Spurgeon on the blue line. This has been especially so recently. Spurgeon has done a bit of everything down the stretch for Minnesota with nine points, 18 shots on net and 27 blocked shots in his last 17 games. Overall, the veteran d-man has 23 assists, 30 points, 95 shots on net and 106 blocks in 59 games this season.
Brady Skjei, NSH @ PHI (45% rostered)
The season most certainly has not gone the way Nashville and Skjei expected. Both have underwhelmed, though Skjei has slightly picked up his offensive production recently. Skjei has six points, including four on the power play, over his last 12 contests. After four-plus seasons in Carolina, including three very productive campaigns in a row, Skjei signed a seven-year, $49 million contract with the Predators last July. It's not a stretch to say concerns that Skjei was a product of the 'Canes system were extremely warranted.
Adam Larsson, SEA vs. DAL (12% rostered)
Larsson's production has come in stops and starts. He has a pair of multi-point efforts over his last nine games, but he's gone scoreless in the other seven outings in that span. If you go back prior to this stretch, Larsson did have five points in six contests. On the season, Larsson is up to 24 points, 96 shots, 94 hits, 133 blocked shots and a plus-18 rating across 74 contests this season.
