On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.
Jordan Martinook, LW, CAR @ NYR (3% rostered)
Martinook experienced an eight-game scoring drought starting in late-November. He has mildly regained his scoring touch, notching points in back-to-back games earlier this past week, Martinook has eight goals, eight assists, 53 shots on net, 37 hits and a plus-11 rating over 32 appearances while skating on Carolina's third line. He should end the year once again scoring in the low-30 point range as he did the prior two campaigns.
Warren Foegele, LW/RW, LA @ WAS (6% rostered)
Foegele has settled in nicely to a middle-six winger role in LA. After a mild slump. he 28-year-old winger has notched multi-point efforts in two of his last three contests. Foegele topped 20 goals and 40 points for the first time last season as a member of the Oilers, and he's well on his way to matching that production in 2024-25. He parlayed that fine season into a a three-year, $10.5 million contract with the Kings.
Leo Carlsson, C, ANA @ UTAH (9% rostered)
Carlsson has not taken the step forward many expected in this his second season in the league. He is at seven goals, five assists, 33 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over 25 appearances after notching 29 points, including nine on the power play, in 55 contests last season as a rookie. If there is a saving grace, with Anaheim in a rebuilding mode, they will give Carlsson all the chances he can handle to find his way.
Ridly Greig, C/RW, OTT @ EDM (1% rostered)
Greig looked to have taken a step forward is his true first full season in the league after playing 20 games in 2022-23. He notched 13 goals and as many assists in 72 contests while skating 14:45 a game. Greig has struggled this season, ending his 19-game goal drought with his unassisted tally in the third period Thursday. That tally gave him points in back-to-back contests as he tries to dig out from under.
Kasperi Kapanen, RW, EDM vs. OTT (0% rostered)
Kapanen is benefitting from skating on a line with Leon Draisaitl. That pairing has enabled Kapanen to notch a pair of his goals his last five games. Kapanen, who opened the year with St. Louis, has three goals in 13 games with Edmonton. As long as Kapanen stays with Draisaitl, he is worth a look, but if that line placement changes, jump ship quickly.
