NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Forward Pickups March 17 - Kings' Q Living Not Dying in LA

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Jason Zucker, LW, BUF @ BOS (15% rostered)
Buffalo has hit a bit of a road black as a team but Zucker has been doing his part offensively. Since January 15, he has 14 points, including 10 assists, in his last 14 appearances. For the season, Zucker is up to 19 goals, 26 assists and 105 shots in 57 games. Barring a complete collapse down the stretch, Zucker should post the second hight point total of his career, topped only by the 64 points he notched in 2017-18 as a member of the Wild.

Nick Paul, C/LW, TB vs. PHI (11% rostered)
Paul has been inconsistent after a blazing hot start but he is producing just enough to warrant utilizing. He got off to a torrid start with 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in his first 12 games, but then posted just 26 points in his past 48 appearances. Those numbers don't tell the full story, as Paul has been back on the beam offensively, notching nine points in his last 13 contests. That hot streak has left him just nine points shy of matching the career-high 46 he posted just last season.

Joel Farabee, LW/RW, CGY @ TOR (5% rostered)
Farabee took a while to settle into the Flames offensive flow, as he tallied just one point his first 12 contests. He has found his touch lately, notching a pair of goals and a helper his last four games. Farabee is skating on the second line, both at even strength and on the man-advantage, and has seen a small uptick in ice time as his play improved lately.

Quinton Byfield, C, LA @ MIN (5% rostered)
Byfield's sluggish start sure looks to be a thing of the past, His overtime tally versus Nashville on Saturday extended his goal streak to six games. Granted, some of his markers have been a bit lucky, as he has taken just 13 shots in this stretch. Those teams that have Byfield on them are not complaining as he's now at 17 goals, 40 points, 126 shots on net, 66 hits, 26 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating over 65 appearances. Byfield is unlikely to exceed the career 55 points he posted last season but he certainly may get close.
