On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.
Dawson Mercer, C/LW, NJ vs. MIN (7% rostered)
Mercer has taken a step back the past two seasons after a solid rookie and brilliant sophomore campaign. Mercer posted 42 and 56 points, respectively, those two seasons, but fell to 33 points last season and has 31 in 75 contests this season. Due Jack Hughes' injury, Mercer is centering the second line, giving him a chance to hit the 20-goal mark again and exceed his 2023-24 output. The ice time, including on the power play, has been fairly consistent, the production, as noted above, has not.

Matvei Michkov, RW, PHI vs. NSH (46% rostered)
The firing of John Tortorella and opening up of the offense under interim coach Brad Shaw has been well-received by the team, especially Michkov. He has notched back-to-back two-goal performances since Tortorella was let go. It's unfair though to say all of his recent production has been due to that change, as Michkov has put together a five-game point streak in which he's delivered four goals on nine points. Michkov sits just one goal shy of 25 and four points shy of 60 in his rookie season.
Yegor Sharangovich, C/LW/RW, CGY @ COL (11% rostered)
Sharangovich had a magical first season in Calgary, notching 31 goals and 28 assists. This season has been a far cry from 2023-24 as Sharangovich has fallen to just 13 tallies and 12 apples in 63 games, plus was a healthy scratch last Thursday. His benching was warranted as Sharangovich had notched just two helpers in his prior 10 appearances. That move has the desired effect, as Sharangovich lit the lamp Friday. He is still part of the top-six, making him worth a look Monday.

Mason Marchment, LW, DAL @ SEA (28% rostered)
Marchment potted a power-play goal Friday, giving the veteran winger four goals and four assists over his last nine outings. A facial injury at the end of 2024 cost Marchment 17 games or he quite likely would have set a new high in production. Marchment's hot streak has him up to 19 goals, 40 points (nine on the power play), 118 shots on net, 71 hits, 45 PIM and a plus-13 rating over 55 appearances this season.
