NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Goalie Pickups and Expected Starters April 11 - Pickard the Pick For the Oilers Against the Sharks

The Oilers have had little choice but to turn to Pickard in net with Stuart Skinner (head) still sidelined and backup Olivier Rodrigue having just two NHL games under his belt. Heading into Wednesday's contest against the Blues, Pickard was 3-1-0 in his last four starts, allowing just eight goals on 107 shots in that span. He allowed three goals on 26 shots but notched the win. Edmonton will likely continue to roll with Pickard between the pipes until a playoff berth as well as seeding has been decided. Against a Sharks team that just hung seven up on the Flower, Pickard could be in for a long night, but his offense should give him enough support to notch a victory.

If you want to gamble, go with Jarry as New Jersey now is locked into the three-seed in the Metro, so they may not have much juice in facing the Penguins.
