On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.
One game on Friday, March 21
* = confirmed
Daniil Tarasov, CLM @ PIT (3% rostered)
Tristan Jarry, PIT vs. CLM (29% rostered)
With only one game on the schedule, why not go with both netminders. Tarasov has been solid backing up Elvis Merzlikins, allowing just 10 goals on 119 shots over his last four outings, winning three. On the season, Tarasov is 7-8-2 with a 3.51 goals-against average (GAA) and an .882 save percentage over 17 appearances. Pittsbugh has been riding Jarry between the pipes, starting him five straight contests. Jarry won the first four of those outings, surrendering nine tallies on 129 shots before blowing a 2-0 lead and losing to the Islanders on Tuesday. Columbus fell 1-0 in overtime to Florida on Thursday while Pittsburgh has been off since Tuesday. This one truly is a coin flip, though the Blue Jackets have been trending in the wrong direction lately. Give Jarry and the Penguins a slight edge on notching a win.
