Scott Wedgewood gets another chance to show he should be the main man between the pipes for the Avalanche

Colorado has been searching for consistent goaltending all season. Alexandar Georgiev and Justus Annunen opened the season as the two options between the pipes. Both had their struggles, with Annunen dealt to Nashville for Wedgewood a little over a week ago. Wedgewood has stopped 52 of 56 shots (.929 save percentage) in his two appearances with the Avalanche and could get a chance to run with the job.
Igor Shesterkin was scratched this am as his wife is in labor. Jonathan Quick should be between the pipes, making him worth adding in daily leagues for the start against the Kraken.
Samuel Ersson, PHI vs. UTAH (19% rostered)
Aleksei Kolosov got the nod Saturday, so we are projecting that Ersson might come off the injured list to start Sunday. Ersson hasn't played since Nov. 11 versus San Jose after tweaking a previous injury during a Nov. 13 practice. He returned to practice this past week, so he could possibly be between the pipes against Utah. Prior to being injured, Ersson had a 5-2-2 record with one shutout, a 2.70 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage in 11 appearances this season
