Philipp Grubauer, SEA @ Cam Talbot, DET (3 p.m. ET)
Jake Oettinger, DAL @ Anton Forsberg, OTT (5 p.m. ET)
Jonas Johansson, TB @ Tristan Jarry, PIT (5 p.m. ET)
Lukas Dostal, ANA @ Pyotr Kochetkov, CAR (5 pm. ET)
Filip Gustavsson, MIN @ Adin Hill, LV (8 p.m. ET)
Cam Talbot, DET vs. SEA (43% rostered)
Talbot is seeing extra playing time with Alex Lyon (upper body) sidelined. He has won all three of his outings in January despite allowing nine goals on 63 shots, and he's at a 9-9-2 record with a 3.03 goals-against average (GAA) and a .901 save percentage over 22 appearances this season. Seattle played Saturday in Buffalo while Detroit was off, which might give Talbot a bit of an edge to pick up a victory.
Jonas Johansson, TB @ PIT (3% rostered)
Looking at the other back up options, none stand up. From that remaining pool, Johansson might be the best, though that may not be seeing much. He has lost two starts in a row and is now 4-3-1 with a 3.32 GAA and an .898 save percentage over nine outings. Why then is he highlighted you might ask? Pittsburgh's play has been all over the place and they come in after a 5-0 loss to the Sabres on Saturday while the Lightning has been one of the highest-scoring teams in the league. As such, maybe Johansson notches a shaky victory..
