Both goalies in the Montreal-New York contest make intriguing options on a light day in the NHL

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Anton Forsberg, OTT @ Jacob Markstrom, NJ (1 p.m. ET)

Jonathan Quick, NYR @ Jakub Dobes, MTL (7 p.m. ET)

Alex Lyon, DET @ Jake Oettinger, DAL (8 p.m. ET)

Goalies

Jonathan Quick, NYR @ MTL (12% rostered)
Jakub Dobes, MTL vs. NYR (22% rostered)

Each goalie in the Montreal-New York match up enters with a little intrigue. Quick has been a back up to Igor Shesterkin's last five games, including Saturday's contest versus the Blue Jackets. His victory on January 2 leaves him one shy of 400 in his career. Dobes certainly has burst on the scene, winning his first four starts in the NHL. He has a 0.93 goals-against average and .963 save percentage, two numbers that will change substantially as he plays more games. But his hot start has made him a fan favorite at the Bell Centre, which is where Sunday's contest will be played. Both goalies are decent win options, with Dobes possibly having a slight edge, same in saves and goals-against.
