NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Goalie Pickups March 1 7 - Columbus' Elvis Says: Thank You Very Much on St. Patrick's Day

Merzlikins missed the Blue Jackets' 4-0 loss to the Rangers due to he and his wife expecting a baby. He is listed as questionable for this contest. If he is unavailable again, Daniil Tarasov, who had a solid game in his absence Saturday and has played well when called upon this year, should be between the pipes. Columbus would have a better chance of winning if Elvis plays, but Tarasov also would give the team a solid option in net as Columbus looks to get back into the eighth position and second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.

If you are feeling really lucky or jonesing to play a second goalie, go with Ersson as a long-shot against the Lightning.
