The match up is far from ideal and Mrazek has struggled his last three contests. But if looking for a possible netminder facing another goalie who has had his issues recently and could be a roll of the dice, Mrazek could be your man. Alexandar Georgiev has seen his hold on the starting goalie role in Colorado dissipate, so this might be a contest where Mrazek has the edge. Though his opponent is better team than the one in front of him.
Mackenzie Blackwood, SJ @ UTAH (2% rostered)
Blackwood is 0-3-2 on the season with a 3.88 goals-against average and .897 save percentage. On paper, selecting him doesn't look like a wise choice. But he and the Sharks are facing a struggling Utah squad who are having their own issues on the back end as they are without Sean Durzi and John Marino long term. San Jose has yet to post a number in the win column, maybe today is the day with Blackwood between the pipes?
