On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Cole Hutson, WSH vs. PIT (22% rostered) – FanDuel $4,900
Hutson seamlessly stepped off the BU campus into the Capitals' lineup. He has points in four of his last five games and is up to three goals and seven assists in 12 contests. Despite skating on the third pair, Hutson is averaging 17+ of ice time per game while also seeing an uptick of first unit power play usage. Washington will need Hutson to remain hot to possibly earn a longshot playoff berth.
Zach Werenski, CLM vs. BOS (99% rostered) – FanDuel $7,500
Roll with your studs. For teams in the playoff hunt, lineups will remain static, meaning studs will be in the lineup. Contrast that with teams who have already clinched spots and positioning, which could result in scratches or limited ice time. Werenski sits one goal and point behind matching his career-high set in each category just last season. Sunday would be a great time to accomplish both.
Jake Sanderson, OTT @ NJ (94% rostered) – FanDuel $6,400
Sanderson and the Senators are closing the season out strong. The Senators are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games, winning four in a row, as they clinched a playoff spot. Sanderson has points in each of their four contests, with three goals and as many assists in that stretch. He is up to 14 tallies and 40 helpers in 67 games, just three points off his prior season career highs, even after missing 13 games from March 9-April 2 with an upper body.
