On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Justin Faulk, DET @ TB (44% rostered) – DraftKings $4,000
Faulk missed two games with a lower-body, both of which were lost by Detroit. The Red Wings are 2-1-0 since his return, though Saturday's loss officially knocked the Winged Wheel from playoff contention. Faulk had three goals in those three contests, giving him 15 for the season along with 23 assists for his highest production since 2022-23 with the Blues. Roll with Faulk to see if he can rack up another tally.
Shayne Gostisbehere, CAR @ PHI (82% rostered) – DraftKings $4,900
Ghost notched assists in back-to-back, upping his helper total to 37 along with 13 goals in 54 games. His two apples Saturday helped Gostisbehere post his third campaign with 50 points or more in the last five seasons. Ghost is having his best season in terms of points per game - 50 in 54 contests - and will be a key member of Carolina's strive for the Stanley Cup.
Dmitry Orlov, SJ @ NSH (23% rostered) – DraftKings $4,500
Orlov remains productive for the Sharks, even as their playoff hopes have dwindled. After notching assists in five straight games before being shutout, Orlov's posted apples in two of his last three contests. The 33 helpers are a career-high and he has tied similar in single-season production with three possible appearances remaining in the regular season.
Bowen Byram, BUF @ CHI (40% rostered) – DraftKings $3,300
Byram is closing the season hot, notching a goal and four assists his last six games. He is up to 11 markers and 31 helpers in 80 games with the goals and 42 total points career highs. Byram's next assist will also set a new mark in that category. He skates on the Sabres' second defensive pair and power play unit with another strong season setting Byram up for a big day.
