On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Rasmus Dahlin, BUF vs. CAR (98% rostered) - FanDuel $6,500
Dahlin missed three games returning home to be with his fiancee who is still recovering from a major health issue this offseason. Since rejoining the Sabres, Dahlin has been red hot with seven assists his last four games. That hot streak has moved him up to 15 helpers and a goal in 18 appearances, almost on pace to the 68 points he tallied in 73 games last season. Dahlin, the team's captain, has notched six of his 16 points on the man-advantage.
Josh Morrissey, WPG vs. MIN (99% rostered) - FanDuel $6,600
Morrissey's point streak is up to seven games after he lit the lamp Friday. During this span, Morrissey has four goals and seven assists. Morrissey's production fell slightly the last two seasons, as he went from 73 to 69 and 62 points. His hot streak has Morrissey up to five tallies and 17 helpers in 20 contests and puts him on pace for a career season. Morrissey is in the sixth season of the eight-year, $50 million contract extension he signed with the Jets in September of 2019.
Cale Makar, COL @ CHI (100% rostered) - FanDuel $7,500
In case you haven't noticed the theme, my first three blueliners all are on point streaks. Makar came into Saturday's contest on a six-game point streak, notching four goals and five assists. He is up to eight tallies and 20 helpers in 20 appearances as Makar searches for his first 100-point campaign. The reigning Norris Trophy winner, Makar will be in contention for the third award of his career, which is on early Hall of Fame trajectory.
Nikita Zadorov, BOS @ SJ (44% rostered) - FanDuel $4,100
Yes, Zadarov is the outlier from the first three listed but he is on a bit of a hot streak and I thought his FanDuel price was worth a look. He has four assists his last four games, which gives Zadorov eight points on the season. Don't look for him to be a big producer, as he posted between 20 and 22 points each of the last four seasons. But with Charlie McAvoy someone has to step up offensively, and lately, it's been Zadorov.
