On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Mike Matheson, MTL @ NJ (67% rostered) - FanDuel - $5,600
Matheson saw his production fall in half last season, dropping from 62 to 31 points. A big reason for the decline was the presence of Lane Hutson. Matheson isn't producing major numbers but his output is in comparison to last season, as he has posted three goals, four assists and 31 blocked shots through 13 games. One caveat is that his power play time on ice has fallen all the way to just 14 seconds a contest, meaning all of his production comes at even-strength.
Brock Faber, MIN @ CAR (48% rostered) - FanDuel - $5,400
The Brock-star has found his game offensively lately. He has logged three multi-point efforts over his last five games, posting all six of his assists and his lone goal in that spread. On the flip, that means Faber failed to tally a point his first nine contests of the season. Zeev Buium is the team's top power play quarterback followed by Jared Spurgeon and Faber, so utilize Faber while he is out.
Cam York, PHI @ VAN (2% rostered) - FanDuel - $4,700
York went from 10 to 20 to 30 points his first three seasons in the league. The bottom out for York last season, as he plummeted to just 17 points. York has flipped the switch in 2025-26, seeing nearly four minutes of additional ice time a night. He has made the most of that situation, posting a goal and six assists in 10 games, five of which have come on the man-advantage.
Ryan McDonagh, TB @ LV (6% rostered) - FanDuel - $4,900
McDonagh is a bit of a long shot, as he has just one point his last six contests. He continues to see major minutes, skating more than 21 minutes a contests, which eventually should result in some production. McDonagh is likely to settle into the 30 or so point range with two blocked shots a game, aided by his return to Tampa last season.
