Levshunov and a few veteran blueliners the ones to target Sunday
On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Artyen Levshunov, CHI @ DET (77% rostered) - FanDuel - $4,200
Levshunov is still looking for his first NHL goal after 32 games played, though he has notched 13 assists. He is on a little bit of a run, posting a helper of five of his last six contests. Levshunov has taken over as the point man on the first power play for the Blackhawks, replacing Sam Rinzel. If he remains in that spot, look for Levshunov to remain productive.
Erik Karlsson, PIT vs. LA (88% rostered) - FanDuel - $3,000
Karlsson and the Penguins are both off to strong starts with Pittsburgh's solid record stemming trade discussions for any of their veterans. EK65 is one of those players, and he has a goal and 11 assists in 15 contests with a plus-six rating. Compare that number to last season when he was a minus-24 in what was a difficult season for the team. He sits just 18 points shy of 900 for his career.
Thomas Chabot, OTT vs. UTAH (74% rostered) - FanDuel - $5,600
Chabot opened the season with four scoreless games, since then, he has been on a roll. He assisted on the overtime game-winner Saturday, giving Chabot two goals and seven helpers his last 11 contests. Jake Sanderson has had an up-and-down start to the 2025-26 season with Chabot picking up some of the slack. Chabot rebounded after a rough 2023-24 campaign for a solid season last year and looks to be building off that success this season.
Josh Morrrissey, WPG @ ANA (99% rostered) - FanDuel - $6,300
Morrissey teased the Jets with his potential his first six seasons in the league. Starting in 2022-23, Morrissey translated that potential into production. He has tallied 76, 69 and 62 points, respectively, his last three seasons while blocking over 100 shots each campaign. Morrissey has gotten on the scoresheet in six of the last seven games, and in total, he has two goals, 10 assists, 25 shots on net, 27 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 14 appearances,
