Axel-Sandin Pellikka, DET vs. TB (4% rostered) - FanDuel $3,900
AXP, taken in the first round, 17 overall in 2023, earned a roster spot out of training camp. He showed last year that he was ready for the NHL, putting up 29 points in 46 regular-season games with Skelleftea AIK of the SHL and added 10 points in seven contests for Sweden at the World Junior Championship. Detroit is deploying AXP on the second defensive pairing, skating 20+ minutes a night, while also manning the point on the second power play unit.
Zeev Buium, MIN @ WAS (76% rostered) - FanDuel $5,700
Buium comes into Friday's contest on a three-game point streak, notching a goal and four assists in that stretch. His ice time in general remains consistent with a good portion coming on the man-advantage, where he has notched all five of his points. Buium will need to improve in his own end, as he already is a minus-six, which could limit his usage late in games where Minnesota nurses a one-goal lead.
Dimitry Orlov, SJ @ UTAH (13% rostered) - FanDuel $4,700
Someone has to run the power play for the Sharks. While Orlov would not be the first player that comes to mind, he looks to be the one who is getting the first chance at filling that role. Orlov is seeing 3:06 of ice time per game on the man-advantage, by far the most amongst the blueliners. If he remains in that spot, look for his production to tick upwards.
